Stage 3/4 Clinic  (9am-4.30pm)

This clinic is open to those who have passed their Stage 2 assessment.

Stages 3 + 4 are where the magic of horsemanship starts. Can you imagine knowing the secrets of control without force, of communication without ropes? Learn to tell the critical difference between lack of understanding or confidence vs. disrespect and the different ways to deal with each. Learn about impulsion and how to encourage positive reflexes
both on the ground and in the saddle.

• Price:  $400 + HST, with a $200 non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking, balance to be paid in full by March 1, 2012 (post dated cheque preferred at time of booking).
• Spectators Spectator Earlybird Special: Tickets purchased by January 31, 2012:   $10/day, savings of 10$ per person!
• Regular  Spectator Price:  Registration after January 31, 2012 (also available at the door) for $20 per day or family rate of $50 per day.

Facility/Arena   The clinic will be held at the Smithers Fairgrounds in the indoor arena. Box stalls are available at $15/night for non NSC members, $10/night for NSC members.

Stabling Please contact Anika (250) 846 5494 for booking. 
• Check in between 3-6 pm the day before, or 8 am the day of the clinic.
• $20 clean up deposit required upon check in.
• Please bring your own feed, buckets, forks, etc.
• Please clean your own stalls.

Start Time Start time will be 9:00 am.   Riders need to be in the arena without their horses but have their horses ready to bring in to the arena with halter and lead.  Approx end time will be 4:30ish pm (we’re on horse time)

Lunch Breaks We will break for lunch for about an hour and a half.  You are welcome to bring a lunch    or we could organize take out delivery if participants would prefer this.
